1) The first year is the most important year , you will be studying few number of courses each semester and each course will have large number of credit hours like mathematics which weighs 8 credit hours , so You need to score a high grade in the first year and believe me when I say that the first year is the easiest so if you got a A or A+ in your first year rest assured that this will help you during your next 4 years plus if you adjusted yourself to a studying style that guarantees to you a good grade you will stick to this style for the next years in college as you will be adapted to it. 2) If you are the kind of person who studies only 2 weeks before exams , this will NOT work at the GUC and will cause you sometimes to fail some courses if you are not usually a studying person type so in order to avoid this , Please study week by week and finish what you have first , sometimes you will have deadlines that will make you postpone studying for some time and this is normal at t

Today is the 4th of May 2012.....almost 1.25 years has already passed on the day the Egyptian revolution first started. It maybe a bloody night tonight with all the killing that has been going on the last couple of days around the ministry of defense in Abbasya. Almost 13 people were killed and couple of hundreds injured, but all of this now doesn't matter to most Egyptians, death is something that all Egyptians got used to when they hear somebody died , I don't see in their faces the sadness and the grieve I used to see through my life. People who die whether martyrs or not are just becoming a number just like what is happening in Palestine. When the revolution started in 25th of January and ended in only 18 days all the Egyptians thought that they made the impossible and that there jobs was done in removing the corruption in Egypt since they removed the head of the corruption represented in Hosni Mubarak. When we all heard that the army will take over we were all happy , this is the army who protected us in every war and who stood with the people , but we all made the mistake of confusing the army with the SCAF. since 1 year or more now and many are dead and none is convicted ....why ??? is it because they are really innocent or is it because any conviction will make the people more eager to convict anyone with any relation to those died during the revolution.
