What Should we do when we have an internal battle between what's right and what should be done?

We have all passed through this stage , where you have your morals , principles tested about doing what is right and doing what should be done. It is strange really because we usually take the easy way out and do what should be done , in some situation we look at the greater good and in others we try to value which will get us in less trouble. But we miss the most important point, Principles are made to be as reference point for us like a beacon so as not to walk in the wrong direction .

At the same time we cannot ignore the fact that we as human beings are emotional , we may try to bend our principles over for some emotional fact that we need to feed or for the need of the feeling that we are not just machines who abide by certain rules. I believe that sometimes most of us bend or break their principle at least once or twice during their life time for the above two reasons. It is not a shame in-fact that's what makes us humans, but the most important questions is How far are you going bend your principles and for what causes and at what price?

GUC Engineering 2012-2013 Newcomers Advice's

1) The first year is the most important year , you will be studying few number of courses each semester and each course will have large number of credit hours like mathematics which weighs 8 credit hours , so You need to score a high grade in the first year and believe me when I say that the first year is the easiest so if you got a A or A+ in your first year rest assured that this will help you during your next 4 years plus if you adjusted yourself to a studying style that guarantees to you a good grade you will stick to this style for the next years in college as you will be adapted to it. 2) If you are the kind of person who studies only 2 weeks before exams , this will NOT work at the GUC and will cause you sometimes to fail some courses if you are not usually a studying person type so in order to avoid this , Please study week by week and finish what you have first , sometimes you will have deadlines that will make you postpone studying for some time and this is normal at t...
