Egypt's tough year...

When the revolution started in 25th of January and ended in only 18 days all the Egyptians thought that they made the impossible and that there jobs was done in removing the corruption in Egypt since they removed the head of the corruption represented in Hosni Mubarak.

When we all heard that the army will take over we were all happy , this is the army who protected us in every war and who stood with the people , but we all made the mistake of confusing the army with the SCAF.

since 1 year or more now and many are dead and none is convicted ....why ???
is it because they are really innocent or is it because any conviction will make the people more eager to convict anyone with any relation to those died during the revolution.

The Egyptian people were attacked by massacres like Maspiro , Mahamed Mahmoud and Portsaed , and every time the government or SCAF comes us and say let's make a committee to investigate what happened , but they forgot that the Egyptian people are no fool and they will not accept any betrayal any more...

When the parliament of the revolution was established we all looked up to our senators to get us our rights but it seems like we were all wrong .

Now maybe our last hope lies with the next president , if we choose him wrong then we condemn the next at least 4 years that the Egyptian people will have no voice but will be ordered to do what those in power want and that we will never accept even if it meant another revolution.

I remember the sheikh el Shaarawy when he said " the true rebel is the one who arises to destroy the corruption and calm down to build the Glory"

I really hope Egypt will one day remember her sons and daughters who gave the ultimate sacrifice ;their lives to save her and make her once more one of the greatest nations and a beacon for all the civilized the world to follow ..

I am an Egyptian , I am a Rebel, I am a Dreamer and I am here to Change

GUC Engineering 2012-2013 Newcomers Advice's

1) The first year is the most important year , you will be studying few number of courses each semester and each course will have large number of credit hours like mathematics which weighs 8 credit hours , so You need to score a high grade in the first year and believe me when I say that the first year is the easiest so if you got a A or A+ in your first year rest assured that this will help you during your next 4 years plus if you adjusted yourself to a studying style that guarantees to you a good grade you will stick to this style for the next years in college as you will be adapted to it. 2) If you are the kind of person who studies only 2 weeks before exams , this will NOT work at the GUC and will cause you sometimes to fail some courses if you are not usually a studying person type so in order to avoid this , Please study week by week and finish what you have first , sometimes you will have deadlines that will make you postpone studying for some time and this is normal at t...

What Should we do when we have an internal battle between what's right and what should be done?

We have all passed through this stage , where you have your morals , principles tested about doing what is right and doing what should be done. It is strange really because we usually take the easy way out and do what should be done , in some situation we look at the greater good and in others we try to value which will get us in less trouble. But we miss the most important point, Principles are made to be as reference point for us like a beacon so as not to walk in the wrong direction . At the same time we cannot ignore the fact that we as human beings are emotional , we may try to bend our principles over for some emotional fact that we need to feed or for the need of the feeling that we are not just machines who abide by certain rules. I believe that sometimes most of us bend or break their principle at least once or twice during their life time for the above two reasons. It is not a shame in-fact that's what makes us humans, but the most important questions is How far are yo...

All these questions start in your head the moment you step into the university and apply for the Engineering Faculty. let's not be kidding ourselves , many people just don't care about anything but the fact that they can actually find a job after they graduate .
