Beautiful Saturday Morning

I started this morning with the sound of my father waking me up because it is already 9 am , which is the irony because I usually get up at 6 am but due to the fact that I had insomnia for the last 3 days and I finally got the sense that I can sleep and have some rest it is all gone.

Nevertheless when I wake up and go down to the street and see all the traffic jam and noise and pollution and people screaming and using their car horns , it feels like I was transformed from quiet nice place to a hell breaking loose environment . I never knew why people hate doing papers in Governmental or as such institutions because I was never doing any of my paper there , my family used to take care for it for me, the funny part is that now I want to be able to deal with my own a stuff and do my paper work and finish all the late papers which brings us to the funny fact that this leads me to deal with some animal minded personnel who will only finish my paper for me if I was so kind enough to pay them something for it or as we say it "Shakhlel Geebk".

Now this term is actually not that new to me as I used to see it and hear it in the arabic movies which shows the kind of degradation we have reached that a respectful person actually accept to take a bribe ; Illegal money and using this money he/she buy food , pay for his children school , pay his rent and pay for medicine form it and maybe pay El Zakah from it. This brings us to the ugly fact that we to some point became people with no principle , no honor and no dignity that we take what doesn't belong to us and use it for our own good and this makes my sick.

......to be continued

What is more important , your future or the future of your country?

A rhetorical question is being asked nowadays is whether your future is more important or your country's future. When you decide to leave your country and you see that there is no other way to build your future other than building it outside in order to gain experience and have a great CV that will allow you to get a job that will actually bring you real money so that you can start your own future. Some decide to stay in their country to build it and they sacrifice their future and the profits they can gain with their skills, but the fact remains that if your country's people actually decided that they will not change their habits of getting a job by knowing someone or being the son of someone important and that nothing is done if you don't open your mind and pay for every free governmental and non-governmental service you get at your country The problem is not in the government and it is not in a certain party the problem is in the way Egyptians think and behave, and

GUC Faculty of Engineering Alumni

Have you ever wondered as a GUC engineering student where did all the graduated classes of engineering do after graduation ??!! did they work abroad or here in Egypt? did they pursue an academic career? was it at the GUC or at another university ? , or did they work at a multinational company ?? what are the chances out there for a GUC engineering graduate? what are the courses we should take to enhance our capabilities??!!!! All these questions start in your head the moment you step into the university and apply for the Engineering Faculty. let's not be kidding ourselves , many people just don't care about anything but the fact that they can actually find a job after they graduate . This year I created a group called GUC newcomers winter 2013 for the GUC newcomers to gather and ask all the questions they need to know about the university and you know what was the most repeated question I heard or received via messages or on the group wall?! ; what are my working chances aft
